About the role
Job Overview We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, enterprise-level IT Infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead high-visibility initiatives spanning core networking, next-generation security, network applications, and modern data center migrations. The ideal candidate brings 10 to 15 years of dedicated experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure rollouts. You will act as the critical bridge between technical engineering teams, client stakeholders, and executive leadership, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities 1. Project Leadership & Governance End-to-End Delivery: Direct all project phases from discovery and scoping through deployment, testing, and handover to operations. Methodology Application: Utilize structured project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) tailored to infrastructure realities. Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations, provide clear progress reports, and align priorities across engineers, vendors, clients, and executives. 2. Infrastructure Scope Management Network & Security: Oversee deployment and migration timelines for core Routing, Switching, and Next-Generation Firewalls. Modern Orchestration: Coordinate complex rollouts of software- defined architectures (e.g., SD-WAN, Cisco DNA Center) and access security frameworks (e.g., Cisco ISE). Data Center & Applications: Manage physical or virtual Data Center transformations, hardware refreshes, cloud integrations, and related network applications. 3. Financial, Risk & Resource Control Resource Optimization: Allocate and coordinate engineering resources (including L3/Senior network experts) across multiple concurrent project tracks. Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, track resource utilization, forecast expenditures, and handle change-order processing. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project bottlenecks, technical dependencies, and security compliance risks, building effective mitigation plans. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience & Education Experience: 10 to 15 years of project management experience specifically focused on IT Infrastructure lifecycle delivery. Technical Context: A strong conceptual understanding of network topologies, firewall policies, and data center environments (you don't need to configure the gear, but you must speak the language fluently).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent field. Certifications Required: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner. Preferred: ITIL Foundation/Intermediate, Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP), or technical background certifications (e.g., former or current CCNA/CCNP).
